Went there for Saturday dinner and got seated right away. Food came out quick. Everything was delicious and I liked being able to customize the spice level for the dishes. Sashimi tasted fresh. Will definitely come back again!

The food is absolutely delicious! Fresh! and Beautiful food. I highly recommend this place restaurant “Umai Thai and Sushi”. The service was excellent. There is parking right in front of the restaurant very convenient.

I had the chance to visit Umai Thai & Sushi based on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did! I came in solo and ordered the Orange Chicken, which came with a side of steamed rice, and a Thai Iced Tea (you can have it with or without milk). Everything was such a perfect combination—the meal and the drink were absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my meal at Umai! I got the fresh avocado roll to start with and it was amazing. So fresh with an amazing sauce! I also got the Makusuri A platter and it was phenomenal. My waiter was extremely nice and the restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend checking out

We went here the other day and wow were we impressed! We started with the Fresh Avocado Rolls, which were *huge* and delicious. It had the perfect crunch and the homemade hoisin sauce (with ground peanuts) was perfect for dipping. I got the Salmon Teriyaki, and the glaze was delicious. It wasn't too much of a portion, and the veggies and rice were an ideal accompaniment. My partner got the Green curry noodle soup with tofu and couldn't stop talking about how tasty it was. The vibe inside is subtle (definitely feels like a neighborhood restaurant), and the staff was efficient and friendly. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a new place to try on Pittsburgh's North Side!
